how did it change it? I tried it once just to see what the hype was about and it had a serious "crappy f2p mmo" vibe about it that deterred me from getting very far with it.

ALL the maps are different, new Classes, new weapons, new monsters, new abilities..
I do believe you level a lot quicker as well.

Yes, Level 1~51 is easy and faster compared to the old time after more Party Quests were added.

man, I used to play this, but now that you mention that 'big bang' where everything changes, I think I might get back to it, no joke. haha.

but I dont know, I might not have enough time to play it ya know. with the holidays going on & all that.
