So now that I made my first video using Fraps and crappy Windows Movie Maker, I want to make some movies using my XBOX360 but I want HD vids.

I have just a few questions...

1. What HDMI input cards do you recommend?

2. What software to capture the video?

3. What software for editing videos?

4. Is YouTube the only decent place for video uploads or do others recommend something else?

Thanks!

For cheap capturing card use EasyCap. I would recommend Sony Vegas 9.0 for editing.

I dunno about HDMI input cards, but Hauppauge's HDPVR (http://www.hauppauge.com/site/products/data_hdpvr.html) works excellent (It's what I use.) It comes with all the necessary software/hardware, and works with both composite and component.

As for editing, I'd recommend Premiere Pro (personally) or Vegas Pro (didn't care much for the UI.)

If you want more info aside from what's on the site, or about the other programs, just message me.. I'm sure we'll figure something out that works.
