View Full Version : Which game you finished long time ago and all of a sudden playing it again

I am now these days playing Resident Evil 5 again lol and I actually missed how beautiful the graphics looks in this game and I really like playing it with my friend, because when the computer controls the lady then sometimes okay not sometime its most of the times the computer dies and then I have to go through all of that killing all from over.

I wouldn't say I finished it because there isn't a single player mode but l4d2. Also I also wouldn't call it "a long time ago" - I stopped playing it for almost a few months after I got BFBC2 and I got hooked on that one. But now, it's like 95% of my gaming is L4D2 again.

if I start playing cs 1.6 again then that'll be more suitable for this thread - I haven't played that properly for at least a year - not since I switched to windows7 - the game runs very badly on win7.

I would say Global Operations. :)

L4D2 is still really a cool game I didn’t play that also in a long time I had a problem with that game but I fixed it so but I am also playing it so now and then just to kill zombies and take on the witch and tanker. Resident Evil 5 I didn’t play that game like in a long long time that's why I mentioned this game instead of L4D2.

I tend to finish pretty much all the games I get, so the list would be pretty big hehe. I think maybe it's beause I'm fairly fussy over games that when I do get one I simply have to play ALL of it. I suppose the only exceptions to this are certain MMOs, and the mainly multiplayer games that are meant to be open-ended.

Tbh, I don't play game that I already finish. Cause everything is already spoiler though. So it's ain't fun really. :L

Raoul

Love playing it in the dead of night, all lights off. I remember once playing it during a thunderstorm, yea "code blue in living room"

Raoul

When I play F.E.A.R i also play it like late night and I play with the headset so that in the end while I am playing and I hear sounds I sometimes look at the back of me lol. There was a time when I had a orange light in my room and the orange light is in F.E.A.R 2 lol it was freaky at nights and fun:laugh:

Never played with a headset. But i do agree, I find myself looking behind me and pausing the game at every little sound I hear

Finished it. the part that got me was at still island, the first ramp going up, I hesitated at the top trying to decide whether to go down the stairs or take a right and go through the gate. I choose the gate and as soon as I turned one of those white ghosts appears right in my face. Talk about dropping a load, both me and my hubby jumped bout 3 feet. Probably the first time I stopped playing just so I could recover.

Fallout New Vegas that game is really tough I died alot in that game and since I am playing on very hard and on hardcore mode things gets even more tough which is great, because then the game is much more challenging for me.

I'm gunna be the biggest bowl of fail EVAR and say that I have never ever played Bioshock, well I have, very briefly, but not to an extent worthy of saying I have played it.

I think I should invest on both games, as it's one of those games where I've wanted to play it for so long, but never remember or get round to playing it!

Well, as I said in a general version of this thread, Battlefield Vietnam was a game I missed playing greatly. I was in the mood for it due to the release of BC2: Vietnam tomorrow, so I couldn't resist.
I was mega disappointed though when I started playing it again, I completely wrecked the memories and damaged it's Glory status when I seen the graphics :( It made me sad!

Always seem to remember games in their 'glory days'.

I am again into playing Dragon Age Origin and I also installed Dragon Age Awakening, but when you install that funny things happens like yesterday I never use any of my health potions I had 30 lesser health, 25 health and 15 greater health potions and just all of them just went away, but yeah I am still loving this game again and in the mood for Dragon Age 2 that's why I am again playing Dragon Age 1 so that I can kind of like prepare myself for the second part lol:D:D:D

I thought about playing Final Fantasy VII again since I've got Advent Children and Dirge of Cerberus, but I didn't really follow through with it. I forgot why though. lol

Raoul
01-14-2011, 02:49 AM
I last played Final Fantasy VII and it is awesome I even have the movie of it I have two the normal on which is English and I have a full HD version and there the detail and the blood looks awesome and there are more scenes in the movie, but the only bad part is that it's Japanese and there are no subtitles lol, but I watched Naruto and Bleach that is Japanese and they have subtitles so I so now and then understand what they are saying:cheesy:

For some reason I had the urge to play quake II again. I had originally bought QII about 5 days after it was released in 1997. From there I played it on and off for several months, but have not touched it in years.

A couple of weeks ago I reinstalled QII, and have played for close to 20 hours.

Remembering the games in their "glory days" - That's why I don't start playing the first 3 installments of Call of Duty again. :D

I haven't played Bioshock either. I've never left a game unfinished, but for some reason Bioshock has no in-game sound on my computer - so I uninstalled it :D. But I am not much of a horror fan, so I probably wouldn't have liked it even if it had sound.

Same man! Well, to some extent. I go back to CoD and CoD2 every now and then, because it still gives me good nostalgia, also, they're pretty damn good games - Especially CoD, as for a game of it's time, it was amazing!

In regards to Bioshock, I played it for about 2 hours, maybe not even that; Horror/Thriller games bore me, never grab my attention, unless it's Resident Evil. Although having said that, I haven't played any of the latest Resi Evil games! :D

The only games I ever really do this for are Legend of Dragoon and Metal Gear Solid. Sometimes I get bored and play some other games for a while though. I need some more games like Soul Calibur or Armored Core, where I can just pick up, do a few battles, then stop playing. Sometimes I get the urge to just play a game for a short time instead of doing the campaign. I suppose I can play online, but, shooters are really the only games that have worthwhile online, and I'd like to imagine the members here know my opinion of playing shooters online...

I decided to play Crysis a few days ago. I installed it and I was expecting to see the awsome graphics I saw when I first played it. But once I started playing I thought: "This is it!? This is the Crysis that we all know?!"
As new games with greater graphics come out we start getting used to them and even games such as Crysis seem to have bad graphics. lol :D - Remember when BF 1942 had good graphics? :D
And Call of Duty was the greatest game of its time, so I just don't wanna ruin my good opinion on it.
ps: I've just installed San Andreas. - Just felt like playin' it. :D

Yeah sorry it is the Difficulty level. It's like for LANING like um. . . let me think of an nice example. it's almost like Unreal Tournament where you go on the stage and kill the people and make sure you come first and then you win. That game is in my head right now that's why I mentioned it:cheesy::cheesy:
