Hi everyone! I've been gaming for about 15-20 years now and
i wonder, why can't anyone of those enormous game-developer companies make a new Star Trek game in a sort of Mass Effect 1-2-3 style?
Almost every Startrek game today is about fighting and combat situations.
That's not what Startrek is about is it?
Why not make a new game where players have the abilities to play as either a captain, admiral, commander or another one of the crew onboard either an existing startrek ship or a brand new one? To play in 3rd-person view, with today's graphics and detail levels, to explore just like another adventure game. To have a phaser and a tricorder in your inventory, to be able to immerse yourself in the world(s) of StarTrek, to be able to get your own ship, or serve aboard one. To join on away missions on distant planets, to experience interstellar exploration...actually, to go "boldly where no man has gone before" !
Please, someone, make it so! :-) :-)
