Anyone else notice GF is slow to respond? Sometimes it caused me to double post. Just wanted to see if it has been happening to anyone else, or it's just me.

I've tried different browsers to eliminate the possibility of the browser and same thing...

Yeah mate it's slow for me as well. Not constantly, but at certain times.

I haven't felt that but I'll check load logs to see if the server lagged at any point.

It was alright shortly after I posted my reply prior to this one. Must have just been a random communication spaz!

I know there was a lag spike today but usually I get emails from the server when there is a spike and that was the only email about a spike I received in several months.

But I'll contact our provider to see if there are any network issues that could cause random lag for certain users.

Thanks LiNuX! I've noticed it more during the day time hours than night. If that matters or not... *shrug*

Thanks, I'll pass that along. Although that may be why I haven't noticed anything - I haven't gotten the chance to get online during the day time in a while (I was on today but didn't notice anything).

Hrmm yeah I always get that when my Internet is in heavy demand from other programs like downloads etc.

That's a whole different reason and it's client side. My whole internet is slow if my (home) servers are full or if I'm uploading a bunch of stuff.

I keep getting errors :(
It's not my internet or browser 'cause other sites I'm looking at are working fine.

Aye it's still happening today too. There's been a couple of spikes today, so any double-posts made during this time will be removed as before.

Am I the only one who gets so irritated when I can't get to GF?

Is there an AA group for people addicted to GF? LOL!

Ok, ok, ok... The first step is admitting I have a problem... Ok, lets try this...

The lag today was definitely server spikes. I received two emails for that. Passed over into to Host to look at. I wish I was awake when the lag was happening - Might have been able to catch what process it was.
