In the New Gamers board, there's a topic called "members read first" or whatever. Perhaps include a link to the rules and say "also, don't forget to read the rules" as well as saying that you can't edit your profile until you get 10 posts and 24 hours? I mean, it says all that in the rules, but it still seems like people don't read them when they join...

well, considering the traffic that this site gets, there has to be a lot of rules

Its not a bad idea but to be honest.. everyone would probably just ignore it and IIRC we already send new members a link or something in the welcome PM.

You still need to read it if you want to avoid an infraction.

Well I mean, that post is pretty outdated looking, I don't remember there ever being a website of the month competition lol. It should be updated at least.

Good suggestion Eps. I added that in and took out the website of the month thing. That's real old. Can't believe that thread was posted more than 4 years ago. Totally forgot about it.

That's for me a clever idea. So that there is no more newbie asking and wondering. :D

Most of them are common sense.. Just don't spam, watch your language.. and behave... lol
