We are always trying to make Gamers Forum better for all of our members. And in the past, I've had people tell me that the main board page sometimes looks like a wall of text. So to fix that, we have experimented with and implemented new board configurations.
This post will tell you about the newest changes to the boards. Things aren't very different, but we don't want you to get lost.
A New GF Extras Category has been created. In the category, we have placed our GF Servers Board along with GF Arcade and GF Casino boards.
The new category looks like this:
GF Extras
- GF Servers
- GF Arcade
- GF Casino
From t he GF Servers Board, the GF Servers Support board has been removed. All questions and Suggestions about the boards will be taken in the main GF Servers board.
The Arcade and Casino News AND the Question/Suggestion board has also been removed due to heavy inactivity. All threads moved into either the arcade or Casino boards. And all three boards have been combined.
The following changes move 3 boards from main boards into Sub-Boards of Post Anything. Since they all focus on a similar general topic, we've combined them and allowed for you to create more specified threads in each board.
The items in green have been moved from the main board category into sub-boards:
- Post Anything
-- Tutorials & Tips
-- Serious News --
-- Fun and Jokes --
-- Websites & Advertising --
It may look like a big change, but everything is still accessible while getting more organized. In total, 6 boards have been removed from the primary view of the forum reducing the 'wall of text' hoping to bring a better and more organized experience to all current and new members of the forum.
Another addition we have is the "GFX Tutorial" board under the graphics section. We have plenty of graphics enthusiasts on this forum and I know everyone wants to show off their skills when it comes to graphics and now you have a place to do so.
Everything is still evolutionary, meaning things can change. If you have any questions about the changes or have suggestions of your own for future changes, please feel free to post them here or open your own thread in the questions and suggestions board. Even though It may take some time to implement, we always take suggestions into considerations and if they are good enough, we implement them.
