My lord that actually looks immense. Although it's quite strange to see it tagged as the most realistic racer ever considering it's a Need For Speed title, I've not always associated NFS with being realistic. How realistic was Shift?

original NFSs were very, very realistic and aimed to be... they got less so more and more with each new release as Gran Turismo took over that market/did it better. (someone correct me on this if I'm wrong)

I got NFS:Hot Pursuit and it's done little more than continually disappoint me by actually being Burnout 4 with a deceiving name and jewel case. Maybe this game might quench my still unsatisfied yearning for a good, vanilla racing title :3

Today is an exciting day! Today Need for Speed announced that SHIFT 2 UNLEASHED™ races onto retail shelves in Europe on March 24 & 25 and North America on March 29. - Official NFS website
It doesn't say exactly when for each console :/

Being a graphics snob, I want this game, just seeing the screenshots :P Haha. Can't wait for DiRT3 though, DiRT2 visuals are epix. I'm itching for more racing games for my 360s too as I got my steering wheel and pedals for Christmas :D

Holy ****, that looks awesome! Texture resolution looks incredible, especially on the tracks! I just hope that they don't go overboard with the textures and stuff and completely ignore putting at least some anti-aliasing in there, to avoid having the ladder effect around the models :( That would make me cry. But I suppose I could always get it for PC to prevent that :P

that looks pretty intense... lots of attention to making some serious, immersive, hardcore racing gameplay :) The title's going to be awesome for anyone that wants an incredibly deep, realistic racer with all the stops pulled and the difficulty/intensity at its peak

Graphics settings and effects must not be at their fullest in this video... are they? I'm assuming we're getting a look at some beta footage or something since the game hasn't come out yet
