Well, I usually outsource my logos to be designed, but with the talent I have seen on here I figured I'd much rather give my friends a shot instead. :D

A good friend of mine started her company awhile back and from the get-go part of her proceeds go towards funding music for the school system where she used to go to school.

This got me thinking and I wanted to start some way to give back with gaming.

The name of the charitable organization that will be part of Respawn Gaming is going to be call Frags For Firefighters. Yep, you read that right. Gaming to give back to our firefighters.

I've been in touch with The Leary Firefighters Foundation (http://www.learyfirefighters.org/) and we are working to put something together to either have a local tournament or online tournament.

So now that the cat is out of the bag, I am looking for a great creative logo for Frags For Firefighters.

The winner will receive 400 GFP, + Rep, an honorable mention, as well as their logo used on anything we put it on (i.e. sweatshirts, t-shirts, bags, business cards, etc).

I haven't decided on a close date yet for this contest, but I will be updating this post in the next few days with a close date.

Everyone is welcome to apply, and just like the SOTW, you must show your proof so I know it's original.

I will also update this post with peoples finished products and possibly hold a vote if I cannot decide on a winner myself.

Can you enter with multiple entries/is there an entry limit? (for any so inclined?)

Also, Wicked, are you looking for straight black and white or color? I'm assuming black and white.

There can be colors. But I will limit it to 2 colors.

If I see the design or if you feel there needs to be one or two more colors (more than just two), let me know and we can consider to up the ante. :D

Was just curious how many people are entering this. I've heard from a few individuals personally, but was just curious if there is anyone else.

I know how difficult it can be to come up with a logo, so if it would help I can extend this contest to the end of the month.

I have some ideas I've been brainstorming for a logo if that'd help you guys and girls who want to enter?

I only did some brainstorming because I know how hard it can be to come up with logo designs. If you already have an idea then stick with it. If not, and you want my ideas to run with, let me know. :)

I wanted to enter this and I had some things made up for it, but then I had to completely reinstall my OS and couldn't back up the newer stuff I had, and now I just started a new job that exhausts me too much to do anything in my free time @___@

good luck, wicked, though, I hope something comes through for you. And maybe I'll find the time eventually @_@
