F1 2010

Hey Guys and Girls.

Just wondering if anyone has played F1 2010 before?
I was going to get it at Christmas but I got other games instead, despite me getting my steering wheel and pedals for the 360.

I would like to know people's personal opinions on the game, and if it's really worth playing? Do the cool features in season mode keep you interested or does the novelty ware off quite quickly? Is the gameplay in general great, and are the controls smooth along with the frame-rate?

Suprisingly I don't own it! I'm not into F1 much but I've played it like twice! I can tell you one thing, this game CAN BE very very challenging and realistic if you switch off most of the driving assists.

and I'm sure you already know... it looks very hot :P (sexy)

Well me neither mate, I'm not too hot on watching the F1 season on the TV; always found the games pretty entertaining though.

Yeah it looks freaking awesome! But any racing game that doesn't look incredible is a crime. I also heard it's solid when the assists are off, but I suppose it's just like on Forza Motorsport though and any other realistic driving sim!

I may give it a buy :) It was on sale on Steam not so long ago, but I didn't want it for PC!

This game as Hamada has said is Sexy!
The dynamic weather is awesome, and it certainly adds to the realism of the game when it starts to drizzle mid race and by the last 10 or so laps you're driving with wets on and a raindrop covered visor.
The handling of the cars is as you'd expect a F1 car to be.
Without driver aids I personally found it quite tough to keep control, that's just me though.

I'd probably give F1 2010 9/10 overall.

This game is really awesome the loading of the game reminds me about Dirt 2. The graphics really looks beautiful in this game and since I enjoy playing F1 this game is like a must get for me it was worth it:cheesy:

I agree. Some parts were really tricky in places, but it's a great game.

I'm gunna just wait until it comes down in price or when I choose a game to trade in for it :)
Mainly due to the fact that DiRT 3 is out soon and I want that more :D

No, because that's your opinion. F1 2010 was a great game. You probably didn't like it because you can't drift around corners and go mental on the accelerator like in other racing games. It takes an insane amount of skill to drive an F1 car, and F1 2010 & F1 2011 are F1 simulators.

So what you should have said was: If you don't like realistic race simulators, then I don't think that you would like this game.

I love F1 2010. I loved the realism of the game and the fact that you had to have so much control when playing. I seriously can't wait for F1 2011 on Friday.

F1 2010 was actually one of the better versions of F1. Now I seriously have to consider if I want the next version or not?

To be honest, I can't see myself buying the new F1 as I have found F1 2010 so tricky to play. I love racing games, but this one has really stumped me!
