So, why is it, that each year that passes, you find yourself edging further towards the front of the Bus?

I think Buses are kind of like a noisy, annoying timeline that you have to get through to get to your destination on that day; something to observe on your way.

When you're younger, you always want to sit at the back of the Bus, because it's the cool thing to do and it was fun!. But as time passes on, youre obviously not that young anymore; at school, you were still at the back of the Bus; College, you were a seat or two away from the back of the Bus. Now that I'm 21, I'm sitting kind of in the middle of the Bus, between the old and the frail, and the annoying little b***ards. Said annoying little b***ards sit at the back of the Bus, with their music blurring, as if it's their audiable force field, to prevent the "uncool" from sitting anywhere close to them - it's off putting and it makes me want to pick them up and launch them through the side of the vehicle. However, since that action is illegal, it does make me wonder if I was one of those annoying little b***tards myself once upon a time... But I just think to myself no, as phones weren't as hightech and annoying as in my School days. Polyphonic ringtones were all the rage then, baby! Crank those bad boys up to 11 and... well, you'd get to 4 and your phone would start to rattle and possibly crack...

It's only a matter of time until I'm sitting at the front of that Bus, with my tartan shopping trolly on wheels and my walking stick by my side. It's scary!

So yeah, apparently I'm an adult now, according to the Bus timeline :/

If you ever need a slap back down to reality, if you're thinking you're acting too young for your age, just take the bus one day! You'll soon see where you stand... or sit.

I avoid public transportation. Buses suck. I can drive. So I do.

In high school, I always sat in like the second seat on the bus to school, cuz i didn't feel like walkin to the back.

I haven't taken the bus in a while but when I did, it was pretty random. I've sat all over but when going to school, I usually didn't find a seat. With like a 150 people waiting for a bus at the same bus stop, getting a seat is hard and the bus driver is always like "MOVE TO THE BACK OF THE BUS" to create room for people entering.

It's a nice theory though. I see it play out very well with others.

Must just be a totally different thing in the UK :P

I obsessively always sit in the same seat on buses (if it's free - if it isn't, then I uncomfortably sit wherever there is room and feel awful).

The best seat is, without a doubt, the seat right behind the set of doors that are placed in the middle/back of the bus (not the doors you enter, but the doors you usually exit if you're seated farther from the front). The window seat, of course. If I must choose a different one, then I will choose the one right in front of the doors.

It is my spot.

i drove through arkansas once and i based on what i saw (absolutely nothing) can say that this is very likely

seriously just miles of straight highway bordered by desert, and a dead armadillo every quarter mile
