Anywho there is a hacker in my dorm and i find it amusing yet extremely annoying at the same time. His destroyed 6 computers so far the latest was my friend down the hall, and he is targeting all my close friends I think im going to get hit because this seems too much like a revenge thing.

So im just waiting to figure out who he is and give him 20 lickings with a whip. Then watch him get hauled off for a while for destroying some computers.

Bubba is going to be his best friend HAHAHA.


Also this dbag accessed the computer while they were online and doing their own thing he actively took over the computer and destroyed it in front of them. This guy has skill.
He used a file called Sys wow 64 that is apparently an important file for the computer and made it look like it wasnt a virus and thats how he gained entry into the system.

Well the time it would take for them to get involved start tracing packets and doing everything to properly catch this dude would take a while, as it is a serious crime by their standards its not one of high importance due to the nature IE hacking in a dorm room on some joe blow campus in America. So my friends are doing other things before they go to them and get the dbag arrested.

Plus we need evidence and just giving the Feds destroyed computers isnt enough, and ive witnessed one hack in progress, got to figure out where it coming from before action can be taken in general and get documentation regarding it.

It sucks but I talked to my friend and according to the network admin before anything can be done police reports have to be filled out and what not so right now there is about 10 reports that are getting filed, another one of my friends got hit today.

Also the Feds have been contacted and FBI cyber crime unit will be taking over soon. This guy will not see the light of day for a long ass time :)

I know people.... who could do that sort of thing. If they are as smart as you think there is probably nothing you can do to track them via computer. Even I know how to plant software on cafe computers and library setups then bounce a signal to hide my location.

Your best bet it to find out who your friends made an enemy off and stay off the campus internet. For all you know this could be someone who didnt make the cut for the school and is just attacking people logged into their network.

I can unplug my laptop and manually turn off the wifi when I leave so there is less oppertunity for this.

Meh, there are people I know using some illegal software, I guess its illegal if you are not a network Admin, and they are tracing the IPs. The Feds are coming to say hello soon so they will find him.
