For all Premier League fans, the well known pundit and commentator, Andy Gray and presenter Richard Keyes have resigned from Sky Sports over the Sexism Row they caused when they spoke ill of Sian Massey, an assistant referee in the Premier League.
"Women don't know the offside rule, they shouldn't be allowed to referee..."
For all those interested and those who know about English football enough to post here, what's your view? Will you miss them both, or did they just annoy you? I know Andy Gray wasn't all that popular, with him being Pro-Man United all the time, which was annoying. Great player back in his day though, especially for us (Everton)

I don't even know who these people are, but good lord. People need to think before they speak :/
Glad they've resigned if that's the way they feel :/

It wasn't even on-air either, it was in the advertisement break, but someone from Sky Sports grassed them up to the media!

Indeed, backstabbers everywhere, in it for the money.
To be fair, with football being a very male dominated sport in the big leagues, putting a female into the officiating team was inevitably going to spark a row. It's the world we live in.

Not sure if he will be on FIFA or not, tbh...
If he is in FIFA 12, there's gunna be an achievement you can get after playing so many games, where you can turn "Sexist Commentary" on in the menu...
Too soon?
Haha!

Sian Massey, the referee at the centre of the Sky Sports sexism row, has been withdrawn from duty at the weekend due to the intense media attention on her.
The 25-year-old was due to referee the Blue Square Bet North match between Corby Town and Eastwood on Saturday.
But the Professional Game Match Officials group decided to pull her off the game after consulting with Massey.
“The focus needs to be on the match not the officials,” a PGMO spokesman said. “It would be unfair on the clubs.”
Massey was the subject of sexist comments made by Sky football analyst Andy Gray and presenter Richard Keys. (BBC Sport)

Yeah, I seen that a few days ago on Sky Sports News. It's unfair on the girl, I don't think she did a bad job, she was just subject to her errors more so than male officials. If you think about it, male officials make a hell of a lot more mistakes!
