Fallout 3, after a DLC add on you could. And int he Elder Scrolls series i'm pretty sure you can.

Maybe they will do the same as they done with Fallout 3... But why didn't they just do it prior to release? :/

I don't know, maybe to force us to buy the DLC. But I was so let down once I finished the game.....

But, if you get all the weapons and experience, you won't be able to play with the weapons when you've finished the game :'(

My point exactly, this is why it makes me so sad that you can't play anymore after the ending. I really don't understand why they do this.....

Bethesda's Elder Scroll Series you can, I don't know why they made it so you can't in the Fallout Series. It's quite frustrating.

I must still finish Elder Scroll Obliviion though so that I still have to figure out, but I must look for my cd, because someone tried formatting my PC so I lost everything and I only put a OS yesterday on again early morning
