Dear XP,

Thank you for being there for me for the past 10 years, I have grew up with you, learned all your short-cuts and used you religiously even when Microsoft tried a new operating system you were still the one for me.

Unfortunately our time has come to an end, this day was bound to come and it fills me with great sadness to say this, but .............. there is someone else.

Who you ask? Why Windows 7 of course, not only is it physically attractive like windows vista but it performs like you (if not better). Everything is new and there are all these new little features and short-cuts I have never seen before, it's so exhilarating and refreshing.

Once again I am truly sorry it has come to this, there will always be a part of me that loves you.

Yours Truly,

Tim

Why not dual boot?

Sometimes you gotta be greedy and hold onto everything.

Nahh, It automatically set up the dual boot but I'm having a bit sort out of all my documents etc, they're all over the place.

Indeed it will.

I was seriously impressed with Windows 7, only day one so will see how long it lasts (10 weeks or 10 years?)

Completely agree Tim. :D

However, Windows 7 can wait untill i get a new computer since i love playing older games from time to time.

And just to be sure im gonna keep this PC with XP for those moments :P

I have xp on my latptop and win7 on my desktop. Directx 10 was a gaming necessity that pushed me to go with win7, after witch i decided it wasnt actually that bad.
