Did anyone here play sniper ghost warrior and if you did then what did you think of it?

Lol, linux. That looked fun but I can see it being the worst camping fest ever.

It's not even that, there are so many things wrong with the game.

For example, I found it extremely difficult to get over certain things like 6 inch tall rocks or broken walls, you have to go around. In real life, you wouldn't even need to jump, just step over.

And the second thing was the registration. No-scoping someone was near impossible even at point blank range. I tried killing one guy who was camping from 3 feet away by trying to no-scope him and it didn't register. I had to scope in and then shoot him in the back (of course he was bad allowing me to shoot like 5 bullets right behind him).

So I just quit the game and went back to bfbc2.

I have the game cause I like sniping. For me, it's a nice game cause you're able to experienced the real situation of a sniper. I really enjoy the moment when I can snip the bad guy's leader at the first mission. And I also enjoy seeing enemy moving realistically by scooping them. And I also enjoy using other available gun beside sniper such as riffle.

It's not even that, there are so many things wrong with the game.

i agrre. was just wondering if i was the oly one who hated it.lol its that bad that when i was lying down in the bushes, that were in a small pool of water. its the mission where you have to crawl through the campsite.

Id taken outthe guards in the towers, the 2 guys in the tent at the entrance and when i was sneaking back around i cralled through the water, was spotted from the end of the camp and the guy that was shooting me was facing the opposite direction. and the multiplayer was rubbish. they allow you to lie down in the campaign but not multiplayer?? whats up with that?

It was their first game. Don't be so hard on them. The game had a lot of technical flaws and the voice acting and the storyline were bad as well. The graphics yelled FAR CRY all the way through and the way you heal yourself was boring. But other than that, it was fun playing it. The sniping is rather realistic since the bullet is affected by distance, wind, gravity etc... There were many levels in which you can actually get stuck on certain parts because they were hard to pass (especially the stealth ones). Overall, the game wasn't as bad as so many people describe it, but it was nothing special either.

Doesnt that game have some kind of bullettime or snipervision that almost guarantee a hit?

Yes it has, it's a red dot that you see when aiming through the scope, but it doesn't show up every time you aim and you'll have to wait a bit for it to appear. And if you play on "hard" you won't get the red dot - ever. And the headshot effects were nice at the beginning (every headshot from far range results in you watching the bullet in slow motion as it makes its way to the bad guys head :cheesy:) But it gets a bit weird after a while, since enemies are shooting at you while you watch it go, but I didn't disable it since it's fun to watch :cheesy: Boom Headshot! :D I like sniper games and I can't say anything bad about this game - apart from the COD wannabe storyline and the technical flaws. This is their first game, so the technical flaws were expected and they tried to give us a good story - they failed though. Anyway, their second game should be a bit better and by the time time Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 comes out, we should see some major improvements.

I wanted to buy this game, but now hearing all the replie sabout this game I don't think I want to buy the game anymore lol I don't have to be angry, because of buying the game and then end up not liking it

It may be their first console game but they have been making games for a long time, mostly on the pc. heres the list. and so there should be no reason for the game to be as bad as it is.

yeah there is a varied mix of games alrite. some of them are for nintendo ds but the majority are on pc. Sniper Ghost warrior had potential to be a realy good game but it feels like they rushed it to production.

Yeah. Maybe if they took their time with Sniper Ghost Warrior there wouldn't have been so many technical flaws. I haven't played any of their other games so I can't compare them to Sniper Ghost Warrior. They're probably sorry for screwing up and their game getting so many negative reviews already, so Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 should be much better (it won't have that name though).
