Best Operating System?

Why do you guys think the best operating system is?

No Such thing as the best, just personal preferences.

My opinion differs. For gaming, I like Windows (XP or 7). For servers and stuff, I use various Linux Distros.

I use 7 and think its very good. Now If im going back to xp I feel like somethings are missing.

7 is what vist should have been, from what Ive heard.

my vote's for gnu/linux because it works pretty much everywhere. servers, desktops, embedded devices. can't say that about windows or mac. :)

I agree with eps, Except one minor Exception i am not a fan at all of vista.

i'm a windows girl though i envy everyone with linux and who knows how to use it well haha

Vista isn't absolutely horrible, but its like a buggy beta version of 7 for sure.

XP was my favorite for photo/video/music editing related stuff.
For gaming, gotta be Vista or 7.

I prefer both Win 7 and Mac OSX I grew up using Windows and learned to use Mac in high school and I like them both equally and as said above there is no such thing as the best all OS have their problems and strengths its all personal preference
