Before anyone has a cow, the situation started over him jaywalking and turned into him getting arrested for obstruction of official business and resisting arrest. There is a video attached but its worthless because it only shows the cops after the arrest not the situation leading up to the arrest.
Video: WWE wrestler's physical jaywalking arrest in Ohio (http://www.policeone.com/police-products/investigation/video-surveillance/articles/3419599-Video-WWE-wrestlers-physical-jaywalking-arrest-in-Ohio/)
But on a lighter note, if he is a wrestler why didnt he just pile dive those cops and get away. He is big as hell from what i can see from the video it looks like it took a few cops to arrest him,

If only it was stone cold he would smack some people around, maybe a stone cold stunner or two

What is Jaywalking exactly? Is it crossing a road when you're not at a crossing/when the light is still green for cars?
If so, I would probably get arrested within minutes of being in the country, as in the UK and in Europe in general, you can cross wherever and however the hell you want, at your own risk! Ha ha :D

You can do it here too, but sometimes when cops/traffic people need to catch up with their ticket quota, they give tickets for the stupidest things.
And yes, your definition of jaywalking is pretty head on - mostly with crossing when you're not at a crossing.
In one state, it's illegal not to smile at someone who smiles at you first...think it's Illinois? Forgot the state.
Also in NY, it's illegal to spit on the sidewalk. People do it all the time, once in a while, if the cop needs to catch up on ticket count or is having a bad day, they will pull out their little ticket book.

we dont have a jaywalking law per say its more or less if there are ped signs vehicles have to allow people to cross even if the light is green, if there are no signs people cant cross till its safe.

Are you kidding me!? :O
That's just crazy! Surely that law isn't followed up?
Laws like that waste time, when other, more serious laws are being broken.

I haven't heard of a case where it was an issue, but it's real.
Funny the kind of laws lawmakers can pass just to show their voters they're "working".

They had a old law here in sweden that women were forbidden to ride alone on sundays. If you were detained you had to fine about 2 "Riksdaler" but the only problem is that the currency havnt been used for over 80 years. The fun part is that the law has been official until a couple of years ago when some lawyer found the lawtext. It were forgotten until the late 20: century when it was invaludated the law.
