I don't think a lot of people have got iPad on the forum! Haven't heard many people mention it anyway.. I may be wrong though :)

You must be pretty gutted the iPad 2 is out, no? :P
Or are you not all that bothered?

I have an iPad, but not this game.. what's the plot?

Also, I was thinking about trading my iPad in for about £500 since I bought it £799 new, and getting an iPad2 32Gb or something.

Bold move!
Are there any significant differences between the two models? You know, ones that are worth trading in for, if you already have the original iPad.

It's kind of a difficult thing to explain. like.. it's not as 'revolutionary' as jobs tries to make it out to be (well.. it kind of is in a few senses, but that's a tl:dr in the making)

basically.. the 'big screen' thing is a big deal... and it relates to the all important 'apps.'

see, with the bigger screen, app developers can just do like.. more stuff. it's like what happens if you try to use certain software on a smaller or larger monitor. the bigger the monitor is, the more junk you can see at once. well, take that and do it for the iPhone, but give the user the ability to touch some of that junk.

suddenly, you have a bunch of applications that are giving more information at once and much easier to use. you also have a screen that shows you enough web junk to make using it for browsing the net a much more viable option- and you know that you've got a ton of apps- keep thinking along those lines, and you start to wonder: "could this be my only computer?"

that's basically the thinking.

I can imagine playing R.U.S.E on an iPad would be rather awesome. :P
