There's a new game in development called Rage (developed by id Software) and it kinda looks like Borderlands.. regardless, it looks awesome! It's a really nice looking game, and it looks like it's got some cool features too :)

man... it looks like what Borderlands was supposed to be (if only they hadn't rushed that game onto the shelf half finished!)

Its not only a fps its racing involved here too. But I wonder how they will do it cause they havnt made a single racing game.

I agree with the fact that this is what Borderlands should have been.. But I suppose it's a good thing that this is being released, we can forget about Borderlands ^_^

Instantly thought Fallout with Borderlands-y graphics when I watched the video. Looks like a game that's worth a rent, maybe a buy if I like it. Thanks for the info, never would heard about it otherwise :)

I wouldn't really classify it as part racing game, though. It's only a portion of the game.

Maybe I will get it for PC, but it really doesn't look my style, borderland's graphics annoyed me extremely, and it is as said, very similar.

I did however pick up the ios version yesturday, and i'm liking it.. though my only gripe at the moment is the lag on some of the response times on the touch screen controls.

Not to sure if I'll be picking up the console title..

The graphics look exactly like Borderlands, maybe just upgraded.
Also sounds like Fallout. I know people are complaining about "give it a chance, it is original" but it really isn't. A new idea would be something NOT post-apocalyptic. This just seems like a game they are making due to a dry faucet of ideas.

Post Apocalyptic is a theme, a setting, the games story can be about romance, it isn't quite a cliche yet. Give it a chance if that's your strongest argument.

I'm not gonna waste 60 bucks of my money for a new version of the games I've played through, or the games I thought I wasted my money on.
Unless it is something entirely new, I don't see a point in wasting my money.

I disagree.
I think even seeing new Guis is the fun of a new game.
As for gameplay, I can see how it may relate, because it is an FPS in a post apocalypse, but, different story, graphics, sounds, npcs, I can get the demo online I bet...

It IS original, though. It's a new idea, and it doesn't really sound like Fallout 3.5 at all. It's got different systems, coding, story, sound, everything. Saying you won't get it because it seems like another game that's not even close to is a pretty weak argument.

I dont know really but from what ive seen it looks like an ID game like doom or quake in disguise, and buggies.

I barely played it, and Ill still finish it.... just so far nothing out of the ordinary or original about it :/

I've put in a solid 6 hours now into it. Nothing at all like what I was hoping it to be. (open world, rpg, etc.) There's a lot of driving back and forth to the same places with no warppoints. The weapons are pretty clever (wingsticks, remote controlled cars, etc.) but I would say wait for a price drop.

I haven't played this game yet, even though my brother has it and I could easily borrow it, but I have watched him play it. I do agree with the earlier comment that it's kinda like a Borderlands rip-off, but it looks OK... nothing that would really keep you playing for a long time though, so I may swerve buying it.

Two things that did impress me though were the visuals and the frame-rate. The frame-rate for the game is excellent, very smooth.
