Crysis 2 which is released this month. I would also recommend the original Crysis, and Crysis Warhead; fantastic campaigns, with absolutely incredible graphics. They're certainly games that reinvented the wheel, and Crysis 2 has just taken it a step further!

Ha! Oh man, it was a demanding game.
The way Crysis 2 has developed the textures for the game though, it's not as demanding, and it looks better! :) Win.

After 20% off it was $900? Or $720?
I built a similar one and sold it for less than $600 in January. It didn't have the OS so that would have added an extra $100 but the new owner wanted Linux anyway so he didn't have to worry.

My PC cost me little under £400 from a store called Curry's in the UK.
I think I have the spec somewhere on my profile.. when you find it, you will realise it was a frigging steal ;)

You also have to be aware that Norway has rather expensive merchandise :P
Hence so many of us head over to Sweden and buy pretty much anything in BULK! :p
And yea, SWEET deal on that computer Jay

Have you got Call of Duty 4? Epic game is epic. I just re-installed it this evening on my PC, and I've always known that CoD4 is better than MW2 and Black-ops, but after playing it on multi-player again after so long, I realised that me saying the game is 'better' than MW2 and Black-ops was a massive understatement. It should be embarrassing for Activision and the gang, to know that one of their older games is better than their latest releases.
But yeah, great game, masses of people still play online and the graphics are still pretty snazzy when they're on full; with extra AA and AF tweaking on your graphics card control panel for the final touch!
Do you own Dawn of War II or Company of Heroes? If you don't, and you're in to your RTS games, then Relic are one of the kings of RTS. Great games, excellent graphics and holy-sh*t gameplay :)

COD 4 you say, Hmmm yea that sounds like a plan, only played up to the 3rd one and then stopped playing COD for a while. And i get what you mean sir;), I do prefer CoD 1 & 2 over any of the later ones :P
Dont get me wrong i did enjoy the MW series but i felt it wasnt COD anymore :P
Yup, BIG fan of RTS games, got Company of Heroes (You actually reminded me) It ran smoothly on my old pc but i had to use the lowest settings ^^
Going to be awesome to check that out with everything on max.
BTW tried out the Crysis demo (Used all my money on the PC so have to wait a week before i get my paycheck.) And it recommended high settings, but it ran 30-40fps with very high aswell so i used that. ^^
**** was Great! I was honestly stunned at how great it looked.

You're a man of good taste, especially when it comes to your views on Call of Duty; you speak sense ;)
Company of Heroes on max settings by the way is something of a sexual experience. The effects and textures on the game are outstanding, especially considering how long ago it came out <3
Glad your PC is in tip-top shape for Crysis! :D You know you've cracked it, when you can run Crysis no problem.

Why thank you. :) Just finished testing out World in Conflict on max settings, Its like all games are beeing reborn when you finally after a couple of years get to crank the graphics up to max.
Earlier it was in my oppinion that you where a little too harsh when it came to graphics, but im starting to see your point of view :p
Needless to say this is going to be a looong night for me, as i also has RUSE, C&C 3 and Starcraft 2 waiting to be tested on max :)
Also, thanks for the suggestions (Y) +1

I usually dont like games like Alan wake (Im a bit of a sissy.) :P
However the splinter cell games are indeed great, Just to bad i havent liked their multiplayer since Chaos Theory. The multiplayer there was GREAT!
Still, when it comes to singleplayer i have enjoyed them all except Double Agent. :)

If you like zombie games, I'd recommend L4D2.
Although I haven't played as much lately because every time I play, all I see is people quitting when they start losing, even if they have a chance to win the game. That degraded the game for me. But I still enjoy playing with friends when I can.

Never been much of a fan of zombie games honestly. =/
But i've played around with some demos, reviews and picked up some of the older PC games i bought that i couldnt run with my older rig and now i have these games installed or on my wish list
R.U.S.E. Installed
X3 Terran Conflict Installed
World in Conflict Installed
Crysis + Warhead Wishlist
Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead 1st priority wishlist!!!! <3
But can anyone answer me this, How much better is BFBC2 Graphics/Gameplay on PC?
Or is it worse on pc perhaps?

Graphics are generally better for PC games because you can upgrade hardware very easily and upgrades come out very often so game creators can go all out. It's much tougher on Consoles to upgrade gpu's - although I haven't known or seen anyone to do it.

Yea i know, Both Just cause 2 and Ruse suffered by the limitations of consoles.
But PC versions tends to be more exposed to bugs, from what ive seen over the years, perhaps ive just been unlucky.
But for someone that has completed BFBC2 on Xbox, would you say the difference is great enough to justify getting it for PC and play it over? :cheesy:

Never played it on the xbox so I can't say. Actually, I've never even played single player on the PC. 100% of my BFBC2 time has been multiplayer.

Oh! I do recommend the single player when you get around to it, it is fantastic!
The characters in the game are awesome, and believable. Amazing voice acting and they're really funny, without meaning to be sometimes. I can't really give it justice with just describing it.. you'd have to play it :D
The story line is pretty awesome and the general game play is really good, kept me entertained for many hours :)
