Sucker Punch

Its a sucker punch if you expect a good movie.

its visually entertaining but they story is so messed up its not even slightly enjoyable if you want anything to make sense.

Also I found it a bit preachy. Nice action sequences but also completely lame and over the top in most ways.

Bag guys will be holding one weapon in one instant, and then be holding a rocket launcher the next. No matter what happens the main characters cloths neither tear or collect dirt.

And it had slow to build plot and lame ending.

Well it was a fantasy. I actually saw it today and enjoyed it. (first time going to movies in months).

I can see how the story can be confusing but I was able to make sense of it.

Action was definitely good and they were all in her head, that's why there were no tears. Kind of an inner struggle. And yeah the ending was a bit disappointing but it was better than a lot of the other movies I've seen lately. I was expecting her to rip that guys eye balls off or something.

This is just my understanding of the movie.

I liked it a lot. It was only confusing if you really couldn't follow what was going on, the end kind of threw me for a loop, but I was able to make heads and tails of it after it went back to the reality of things. The action was over-the-top, but I think that was one of it's allures, especially with it being in the setting it was.

I remember seeing a trailer for this in it's early days.. really early days!
It looked immense, but then again, I gave that opinion based on all the hot girls involved.

Went to see it today.... I got the story line... it really wasn't hard to keep up with at all... The ending could have been better but I liked it. lol

Yar, twas an awesome Movie, exactly what I thought it was going to be.

A random story to give zack snyder the excuse to play with mechs, dragons, zombies, Giant samurai's and Robots in the same movie.

I agree with Bob.I was less than amused with the movie.The whole imagination in an imagination thing was a really original idea ,but didn't really work for me. It was random and confusing. Visually stimulating ,but did nothing for me as far as logic is concerned. The movie did have the underlying potential to be great ,but they just didn't take it in the right direction I don't think.

Ive heard quite abit of good about this movie!

Might watch it when the parents can take an evening of looking after my daughter so I can take the wife to the movies :D
