I have tried to find a FINAL answer to this, and no website seems to be able to tell me ONCE and for ALL if this is so or not!:-/

CAN you, with an Xbox360, move to say Germany from the US, and bring your Xbox360 with you, and can it then PLAY games of a European version, or not?

If yes? WOOHOO!!!

If no? Is there ANYWAY that you can fix it so it can?

-If yes? WOOHOO!!!!
-If no? Awwww :-(

No, for the most part you cannot. Not only would you need a power adapters (the plugs are different in Europe), which I personally wouldn't do with a console, unless a game is region-free (pretty damn rare these days) you would have to get NA versions of the game to play them on your system.

Awww SHUCKS!!! =( O well, Im not gonna pay like 15 bucks for shipping and handling the future, I'll just bite the bullet and buy a new one -.-

haha happened to me, I moved from Saudi to the US. We play European games over there (PAL) so I had to buy a whole new XBOX which can run NTSC games which is North American. Except some BIG games which are multi-regional (can be played on both) you'd have to get a new one. :/

Put it this way. I have a Japanese PS2 game and it doesn't work on my american PS2 or PS3. All PS3 games are region-free however

the plugs are different in Europe

Indeed, but it's rather odd that we (the UK) have different plugs to the rest of Europe.. ha! :D

Now now, that's no way to bad mouth the Brits. We may be separate from the rest of ya and have our own plugs, and drive on the opposite side of the road to rest of the world, but we are still as messed up as the rest of the world.

Stereotypes that I know about brits(Mind you that I do not agree with these!...well..most of them atleast!)

Brits have bad teeth.
Brits have the worst cuisine in the world
Brits cant drive
And those that can wont
Brits drink tea where the rest of the world drinks coffee
Brits have the worst hooligans in the world(GOOO MANCHESTER!...OR DIIIIE!!!)
Brits love the James Bond movies
Brits hate Americans
Brits never get into a fist fight, they just use their superior linguistic abilities to talk people into not cracking their nose in half
This effect has been proven to NOT work so well with the Irish
Brits think cricket should be the new"Most played sport in the world"
Brits only talk with such a thick accent cause theyre running out of things that make them special
Apart from driving in the wrong side of the road

Come on, you brits know that we love you for a reason :cheesy: You're so damned awesome!

My favorite stereotype that I KNOW is true:

Brits make the best comedians!

OH OH! Family Guy refference!:

High Class British Porn:

*No movement whatsoever*
Him: Aaaaalmost, aaaalmost, aaaalmost, theeere we are!
Her: well done...

High Class British Porn:

Him: You know we could actually have intercourse right now?
Her: mmmmh yes, but let's not...
Him: Quite right....

Is it okay if i'm insulted? Not because of the stereotypes, but because you lumped the Scots and the English (and the welsh and the Northen irish) together. Our stereotypes are very different! Most Scots would rather smack their head against a wall repeatedly than watch cricket.
Whadya mean 'brits' don't get into fist fights?! I'll have you know that Glasgow is famed for it's violent fist fights and murders! It was also voted as the friendliest city in Europe... but heyho :)

I'm kidding. I'm not at all offended :)

No its not okay if you're insulted!
All of the ones you just mentioned are all one and the same.
No they are not different
Scots invented cricket.
I mean that brits dont get into fist fights!
Gloves dont count.
Killing someone with a soft gun doesnt count.

Dude... The scottish and english stereotypes are undeniably different... take Groundskeeper Willie from the simpsons as an example. He's a stereotypical scot, not a stereotypical brit. THERE IS A DIFFERENCE. Not that stereotyping is good.... but if you're gonna stereotype, do it right.
The number of cricket clubs in scotland is minimal. The only cricket clubs that i knew of were at the really posh, private schools. ya know... the schools where all the kids are rich, stuck-up and stuppid (there's another stereotype for ya).
Actually, yeah. A lot of the fights aren't fists. Most of the fights involve knifes. Come round to the Gorbals. No-one could sweet talk their way out of there unscathed.
'gloves'? ... uh what?
and what the hell is a soft gun? You mean a BB gun? Again, most things caused by knifes.

It's weird that i'm saying this... i'm technically putting my own country down.... I guess it's just that i don't agree with your stereotyping. Some scottish stereotypes are hillarious, others (like these) just make little sense...

All agreed with.

I'm Scouse, and we have different stereotypes from general British stereotypes, too, and we have different stereotypes from the English. Liverpool is in England, but not of it.. we don't like England, we're our own.

All in all, I would rather have Scottish stereotypes than ours, as I rate Scotland better than down here, any day; Scotland has better people and a better culture. I have a lot of friends in Edinburgh, Plean, Falkirk, Stirling and Glasgow, and I escape up there whenever I can! The fact that Scousers don't like England is probably the reason why us Scousers are accepted up in Scotland ;)
