Im not to into playing sports games in all honesty. Rather just go out and actually play the real thing. Except for the Mario titles. I dont know if its just me but they are all way more addictive than I would have thought possible and I keep going back to them and playing them with friends in a competitive manner that can keep us occupied for hours at a time.
The more specific ones that come to mind are the ones I have at the moment including Mario Strikers Charged (wii) Mario golf (gc) Mario sluggers (Baseball on gc) Mario kart (64 download on wii). The amount of fun I have with this has made me decide to persue more of the mario sports series games.
Anyone have thoughts on any of the mario sports titles? Perhaps which ones are best or so on?

Ahhhh.... I love sports games but! The Mario sports series are so much fun! I'm sure you've tried Mario Party, but if not that's another one that'll keep you busy for hours, lol... It's also a lot of fun to get a group of people together and play it. I love my regular sports games... but it is also a lot of fun to fool around and spit out a curve ball with Yoshi :)

mario kart especially is just a fun game, it takes the seriousness out of sports titles but in a good way

Mario sports mix has me iffy on it though cause it uses motion control for everything which makes me feel like it would be slower game IMO.

strikers uses the motion control as well, not as much but it does, i still believe that it would be a good game to try out, the next time we go to gamestop you should just pick up a used copy

My favorite Mario Sport game is and will always be Mario Kart for N64. Can spend hours on end playing that game.

Yeah. Just need to find a new place to buy controllers in bulk so I don't have to worry when my analog stick starts getting too loose.

Slight derail coming.
Also, I love the sig. That was the first ever video game I played. Then I played OoT.

So great, I wish for an upcoming milestone anniversary for the Zelda series they would make a new game for the N64 or CD-i. It won't happen but a man can dream.

Well I'm glad you like my sig : D

As for games on cd. you can still buy OoT and Majora's Mask on gamecube disks. I have OoT and OoT Master quest (the harder version of the same game that was only released in japan) on a gamecube disk and Majora's Mask downloaded on my Wii. But if You want MM on a disk I know they have a anniversary disk with it on it along with 2 or 3 other zelda games also. Again on GC disks. Just gotta go to a gamestop and have them look them up, which is the hard part cause they so hard to find.

I also have Mario Kart 64 on my Wii also so I dont go through controllers : )

Nice.

I still have my NES and my original N64 so it's great to through a few games in those once in a while.

That's what I meant by CD-i, I was thinking of a different console that played those that just had a d-pad and 3 buttons.

Just can't beat playing it on the console it was made for.

But back on topic, I played Mario Party 8 for Wii tonight with my little brother. I was easily able to play it for a while and would've played it longer if a friend didn't want me to get on Xbox. Great games.

Mario parties are still great games when you have people to play with. Just dont get friends like mine. Anything to win. Even violence. Though in all honesty I think it adds to the game a little lol
