Gamers Forum IRC Event Ideas

For the past 5 months we have hosted a monthly IRC Event. So far all 5 have been Trivias consisting of 16-25 questions. IRC Event 6 will also be a Trivia. But what about future GF IRC Events?

Doing a trivia every month can get boring. So if you have an idea that everyone can participate in, feel free to share. Use this thread to brainstorm with other gamers and come up with an event you'd all enjoy.

Well personally I think an arcade tournament every month sounds awesome! An admin/mod picks the game, sets a reward, and first come first serve to those who show up. Then again, I'm not sure even if 8 people show up for the events any longer? I missed the previous one so don't really have anything to go by.

On the other hand something entirely different might be in order. Maybe RP events, or simply a discussion event, everyone simply show up to talk together!

And there's an idea that my WoW guild gave me! We had drunken wow parties every week, commonly friday or saturday evenings. We'd all sit down with our own booze, and group up and do what the hell ever we feel like. Sometimes it might be a dungeon where we all go naked and try to see how for we can get, or maybe we just go to an alliance area and take over an Alliance city to piss off those that're leveling up, all while we're getting more and more drunk.

So why not a monthly evening where those who want can go on IRC, get hammered, and just have fun, and those who dont want to(or cant) can make fun of us who're hammered! XD We could even add tinychat or whatever to it, to get webcams in on it too :)

Those are my ideas.

Make the trivia about the members, perhaps. Find out the 5-59182031 people going, ask them 1-3 questions about who they are, what they do, what they like etc. Make the trivia the same, but more social. Could probably learn more about eachother and find more common interests between members in the GF community.

Not really straying far from the trivia idea, but it's a twist I guess to get the community more involved with eachother.

But Saph, the arcade would be good but we could do that on the forum since it's a good system anyway.

And Bryce, we do sometimes ask questions about members and other forum stuff in the trivia. It's not uncommon :)

Okay sweet :D I'm gonna suck at that part though xD havn't started being social until lately, havn't had the time (Wow sounds harsh D: ) to get to know everyone really :(
