My favorite gaming series of all-time is really easy to guess, its the Gears of War series:D

I have been hooked on this series ever since i started playing it back in 2006. This game cured me of my Halo addiction and started a whole new one. The combat and the storyline were like nothing i had ever played before with its intense gore and dark settings. Ever since i started into GoW i've read all of the books and i just cant get enough of the storyline. There's just something about reading/ watching a locust get chainsawed in half or blown into tiny giblets that just makes so incredibly happy on the inside:)

That is hard I really dont have a favorite series because of the simple fact I can be totally in love with one game, for example Halo 3 and beyond, and when something new comes out, bullet storm, I stop playing Halo 3.

But if I had to pick I would go with world of warcraft. The lore was pretty awesome and the set up was great. had alot of great memories on that game but gave it up because of immature people.

Gaming series would have to be Halo, as it's the only game with story continuing into multiple games I've played :P

Roflbryce needs to play more games.

Mine is Metal Gear Solid. I love the atmosphere of the games, I love the storylines, I love the codec/radio, and I just love the overall gameplay of sneaking around, but it's not tedious like it is in Splinter Cell.

Well this one ill never be able to answer cause there are just so many good games I like. But Tales of Symphonia has an awesome story that continues in Tales of Symphonia 2 then also Tales of Phantasia. So goood.

On the game series id have to say particular exerts from the Zelda series just for being awesome all around.

Then again if I had to pick a fighting series it would be Super Smash Bros Brawl, and if I was looking at a third person shooter it would be jet Force Gemini.

I just have to much to like : P

I need to pick mass effect. The story is a direct continium in all the game and it will change on your choices in the previous games.

I pick Halo too. The background is also just amazing.

IT is hard because I love so many stories.

It's easy:

Super Mario (Just because it's classic and I still playing these games)
The Legend of Zelda (I started with Ocarina of Time and since then, I can't stop playing it)
StarFox (I just say: ,,Can't let you do that, Star Fox!")
Sonic the Hedgehog (I played it the first time a few years ago, and since then I am a Fan of this series)
Super Smash Bros. (Just awesome)

That should be it.

I've always been a fan on the MGS series... I've been playing it for many years, lol. I just like how the story is so immersible and how the game-play is so much fun! I've been a fan of other series, but Metal Gear is definitely my favorite.

Mine is Ratchet and Clank. that series has 8 video games and i counted. R&C 1, Going Commando, Up your Arsenal, DeadLocked, Size matters, Future: Tools of Destruction, Quest for Booty, and Future: a Crack in Time. (FYI, they're all in order) The guns on there are like Halo guns and the games have great story lines. But still you have to read reviews about it i dont want to explain the epicness of each one. My favorite game is the first, second, or third one

my brother loves ratchet and clank, ive always found the series to be fascinating, but he never really let me play when we were younger, so i just watch him play them and get the storyline that way now when a new one comes out

Play them in numerical order. Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2, Metal Gear Solid 3. If you want, play Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops and Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker for the PSP after 3. Play 4 LAST.

Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 are available on the original 2 disc release of the subsistence edition of metal gear solid 3, if you REALLY get into the story, but the games are really old. (first one was ported to the NES, second one only available in japan until the subsistence re-release)

I remember playing MGS on the psp, but it was sort of a card game...was that portable ops. I would love to play the ps3 version though

Elder Scrolls, hands down! Morrowind and Oblivion are just pricelessly awesome, and it's actually one of the rare series where the games get progressively better, not like some other games such as Resident Evil or Age of Empires where one of the older ones is actually much better than anything they made later.

Other series I like:

Fallout
Assassin's Creed
The Sims
Warcraft
Quest for Glory
