Hey guys, i was wondering if you could help me. Whtas the difference between Dual Core and single core processors?

Dual core is two single core processors (but in one cpu). Able to handle more, etc.

Dual core processors are generally faster, more expensive and newer (well... Generally), but often times run warmer than single cores (If you're asking this question I assume you won't be OCing, which means chances are you won't be worrying about temps...) Single cores use less electricity, run a heck of a lot cooler but also run slower. Essentially the difference is that one is running of a single 'core' or, lets say, "chip within a chip" while the other is running off of two 'cores' which can effectively double the speed.
