Design Work.

Hey all. Sorry if i'm not supposed to be posting this here...I'm still new to this place so please forgive me. D: lol.

So, i'm doing a project for my Design class at school and they are asking us to make a logo for our company/Subject. The one that I picked is a futuristic styled Casino named: Equinox. I basically finished designing the logo but would love to hear all of your opinions on it. Do tell me if there is something I need to change.

This is actually very unoriginal. I viewed a picture of a Tron: Legacy poster and practically based this logo off it. xD I'm so newb...haha.

I think it looks likea game logo :D

Haha, thanks. Though that's what I thought while making this...Problem is: I can't really find any good references for Casino logo's - and with my theme for my casino, don't think they would help anyway.

Maybe I can change it up a bit? Don't know....

If you're doing a casino slash future look, you would have to look at a casino, and think of *puts on sunglasses* The future.....something like that...

Yeah definitely. I had a few other ideas, but my design teacher looked at them and said they were way too complicated to be a logo. So I tried to create the simplist thing I could and well...this was really all I could think of. Don't get me wrong though, I'm very happy with the idea. But I'll see if I can "spice" it up a bit more, I suppose. Haha.

Haha, I suppose, if I come up with anything new. I would have uploaded my other concepts but unfortunately I lost my USB at school and lost all my work along with it. D: Redid them today but not as good as the original ones and I don't think they deserve to be put up here. Haha.

Haha, like I said. It isn't original at all. I'm such a copycat. xD And yeah, that is definitely what I was thinking as well. But as I mentioned in my previous posts, my design teacher had been attacking me to make something simple...which is what lead me to this not-very-casino-like Logo. Lol. All of a sudden she's in love with it. Doesn't bother me though, since she will be the one grading me...So whatever makes her happy, really!

Exactly. Half the time she doesn't actually know what she's talking about...So i'm sure in another weeks time she will start complaining about the simplicity of the logo.

Oh yeah, by the way. It looks alright, a bit generic though. I've seen a lot of things like it before. But its still pretty good, and it has its own unique originality in its own way I guess :)
