So today I finally plugged in my new HDPVR that has been sitting around for the better part of a week. Well today was the first day i plugged it in and had very high hopes that it would work, and it did... for about 2 minutes... After that it screwed up and the same old error of "USB Malfunction" occurred... I went into safemode and turned it on and it worked fine, after which i did a reboot and its been working every since... I didnt do anything in safemode but just turn it on...

I am extremely confused on what happened but I am very very glad its working again cause i got alot of videos to make.

edit: I spoke too soon now the software wont work and I cant even uninstall the damn thing to try and fix the issues. Just did a system restore hoping it did the trick. So far the PVR is still working.

It's probably your computer, to be honest. Only seems logical if it's done it with two different versions of the same product in a row.

Well it doesnt make sense though. Its telling me that there is a USB malfunction on every USB port i plug it into however my keyboard, mouse, Ipod, etc are working just fine. Im not sure anymore hopefully the manufacturer will have some much needed answers because the developers of the software, Arcsoft, apparently dont know what is going on. I looked around on their forums for some answers and they dont know anything.
