Windows Live Hotmail

Is there anyone having issues with Hotmail.com today? I can access it on my Blackberry just fine, but not my PC. Other websites are working completely fine, but after I login to Hotmail, my inbox page won't load!

I had issues with it last week. All week, couldn't load it on any browser on this pc. But it worked fine on my phone and laptop.

But right now, it's fine though.

That's exactly the problem I have - tried Firefox, Chrome and IE9, but no dice.

Oh well, at least I have my BB :)

Sorry for double post, but I have further issues that may be linked with Hotmail not working... but I dunno.

Videos from YouTube and the like are streaming so slow (I have a 50mb connection and I'm used to FAST... but this is slow). Hotmail as you know doesn't load at all, and some other websites take a little longer to load than usual, and it isn't because of a traffic issue either. general download speeds are sucking, I was downloading a patch for LoL last night at 125Kbp/s as opposed to ridiculous speeds, and my friend with 20mb internet was downloading it faster than me, frustrating! Lastly, Modern Warfare 2 on my PC won't find any games, stupid matchmaking, but it was fine a few days ago... ARGH!

But here's the kicker... apart from when I download, my ping on Ventrilo and stuff is fine! But when I download it goes crazy, like into the thousands! This never usually happens because I have good bandwidth, downloading at high priority doesn't even tickle it usually...

Anyone have any ideas?

Maybe many uses the internet at this time making it slower?

LoL download speeds have never been faster than 100-200 kb/s for me. It's most likely their servers. When I download a game through steam, I download at 1-2 mb/s.

As for your youtube issue, is it with all videos? I sometimes have issues with some videos but not all, usually the server the video is placed on may be lagging.

Also if you can, try rebooting your modem and/or router. Also do a tracert during the lag to pinpoint where the lag is. It may not even be your pc/hardware.

Ah right, that is comforting to know! Still bugs me how my friend downloaded the update quicker than me, though :P

It's happened to most of the videos, but not all... maybe I'm having a run of bad luck and coincidences? Hotmail is working now, too... grr - Yay! But grr...

Restarted router earlier today, did a speed test, all was fine; coincidences I guess :)
