I am going to go see it here in about 30 minutes and I has the high hopes for it. I believe it will do great havent heard anything on reviews so far so I will throw out my two cents on it when I get back.

I seen a commercial last night, I've heard nothing about it lol. I am definitely checking this one out when it gets to my town

Im not a big comic book dude so Im not sure if this follows the correct storyline, but what I do know is this... Xaiver was paralyzed by his half brother, Juggernaut not by a bullet.

All depends which Universe it is. Professor X got crippled by an aliencalled Lucifer (http://marvel.com/universe/Lucifer_%28Quist%29) dropping a boulder on him to stop him from interfering with his species' invasion of Earth.

two comments:
- this film was just alright, nothing too great. not my cup of tea mostly.
- this film is meant to replace the past two films and any preexisting story completely, thus the inconsistencies that you're all pointing out.

Correct, and it isn't with just the X-Men either. I'm not sure about Marvel completely, but I know that DC are giving their comic books a complete reboot, to start the stories from the beginning for new fans.

To me, this is stupid. There are a lot of story branches in each comic book heroes tree, which enables flexibility for story lines and the like... what's the point in stating a reboot and starting over?

I think it's a bad move, especially if they completely re-tell an entirely different story about (for example) where Batman came from, and how he come the Batman, and what happened before he became Batman... it would just be insane.

eh, I thought it was a decent flick. really. but what didn't make sense to me is that.. what really happened in Last stand? they saw jean as a child, magneto & prof. X become allies again, and in this movie, they were younger and thats how the rivalry began? I'm just confused about it... please correct me if I'm wrong. other than that, I should have watched this on netflix or on a rental dvd.
