I'm excited because I'm a huge Assassin's Creed fan, on the other hand I'm a ubisoft hater (coz those little twats always keep us waiting with the PC port and fill it with pointless online/uplay crap)

And while I think the Ezio arc has been overdone by now, and the game already went far beyond a trilogy, I must say, Ubi knows how to make good CG trailers... the gameplay looks fantastic as well, I have the feeling the game gets more violent piece by piece.

It does look to be a fantastic game! Cannot wait for it, the story is bound to be amazing :)
Isn't this one the last game in the franchise? Even if it is meant to be, it probably won't be :P

Well I don't think so... originally Assassin's Creed was supposed to be a trilogy. But then they started stretching out Assassin's Creed 2 by releasing the two stand-alone expansions Brotherhood and now Revelations. (Both have no number because they are supposed to complete Ezios story aka AC2.)

So I guess we'll be getting Assassin's Creed 3 sometime... ^^ I hope they don't take as long as Valve with Episode 3 xD (awww who am I kidding? only Valve can actually AFFORD such a thing)

I was hoping to finally get a new setting but meh... still, can't wait for this ^^

Nope. The third game will have nothing to do with Ezio. Hell, this game in itself well be a lot more Desmond-centric, you actually have to find a way into the memories instead of just "Okay... animus, select memory, enter"

This one's Ezio, but AC 3 won't be about Ezio. No idea who it's going to be about or what Era it's even going to be in.

Oh my actual GEEZUS! WW1/2 based game would be actually amazing! I would hope for WW1, as it's never been done in a mainstream game before.

They wouldn't make a shooter. Besides, if they did make it a shooter, then it wouldn't really be the same, would it? He has assassin blood, so if it's WW2 for instance, it would be about him trying to take down Hitler and his officers, maybe :)

It's not likely they'd go into either of the World Wars, simply because of the guns.

I've only played the first one and Brotherhood, the first one was kinda repetitive and got boring really easy, but Brotherhood on the other hand was epic, so I dont doubt that this will be even more awesome :D

This one's Ezio, but AC 3 won't be about Ezio. No idea who it's going to be about or what Era it's even going to be in.

Chico at game stop says you can play as Altiar and Ezio.

It looks awesome, but I think they are definitely dragging along the Ezio story to long now. I imagine he will die at the end of this or go off and live happily ever after and we can get on with ACIII then, new character, new era, new cities etc etc

Still won't stop me from getting it on release though as usually the story lines and animations are worth getting alone.

I on the other hand want more sequels ! Per century until they make one in our time ! I have an idea to make historical figures Assassins ! An example would be Che Guevara !

Desmond will probably have an identity crisis ... well I think he already has one now (I didn't finish Brotherhood yet !) But this series in my eyes I can see everlasting !

We've been in the Mid-West and Southern Europe allready so hey. :P

Also, i think assassins creed will go on until Desmond is a true assassin and we will be playing him in a modern day setting.

So far he (Desmond) can freerun pretty well and use the assassins blade, think about how it will turn out in the end. /mindblow

Interesting idea and it's one that I could go for. But how long do think it will take the makers to get us there?

Yeah they are started in the 1400s or so and go 700 years til 2100 or whatever year is Desmond in. Abraham Lincoln and Che Guevara as Assassins !

Not forgetting, two world wars, Korea, Vietnam and the Gulf. After that Desmond could hit space with interplanataery war (or maybe his descendants). Just imagine the weapons that could be used.

I found the first one a really great game, it got me hooked into the series, and it's the platform for the rest of the games you find out where it all started. I guess it comes down to taste, it might be worth you getting a copy and giving it a try.

I agree with all of this. Especially that it will go on until Desmond is a "true" assassin. Which, the way the games are selling, could take a long time. xD

Haha! Don't blame you. I absolutely loved it. The hook blade is a great addition to the game, I really like it. Bomb crafting is fun too. I hope you have a great time with it and enjoy it as much as I did. :) I still can't decide whether this or the original AC is my overall favorite.

It's a rare thing that a game actually holds my sole interest for three days running, and the storyline aspect did just that. Multiplayer is a nice addition as it is, and slowly improving :)
