Awesome news. I've been thinking about picking this up on PS3 but I'm glad I held off. Hopefully they do a better job with optimization than they did with GTA4.

It's great news that the game won't just be a basic port. It's fantastic that Rockstar Leeds have taken the Team Bondi seat to specially develop the game for the PC platform; enhanced visuals, complete remapping of controls and 3D compatibility! Yummy.

RDR is so much better than LA Noire, in terms of gameplay, story and freedom. However, you can't really directly compare and contrast the story in the two games, as LA Noire was such a new take on a Rockstar game... but I would still choose to make RDR for the PC over LA Noire, any day of the week!

RDR on PC would be to easy. Controls just feel like the game would play better without a mouse.

I am excited about LA Noire on the PC though. I wanted to get it but prefer PC most of the time.

It's the opposite of GTA, and a game that's set a long time before GTA, in post war LA, in the 40s. You're a war veteran of the Pacific Theatre of War, now police officer for the LAPD, and you're working your way up the ranks, solving some simple, some sick and some complicated crimes as you go! It's a great game with a fantastic story, with some crucial decision making involved, which can make or break an easily wrapped up case. You can never fail a case, but you can wrongly convict someone which will prolong the case.

Give it a try by renting it, I strongly recommend it :)
