I found this story on my facebook news feed and it was actually really cool to see.

A Florida deputy sheriff got on a county-wide radio for what his boss called "a very important announcement" concerning a co-worker, who also happened to be his girlfriend. Joseph Bracey then came on air to propose to sheriff's dispatcher Ashley West.
Bracey was heckled by fellow deputies for the gesture, but he said it was worth it.
