Hey there,

Do you happen to know any offline PC RPGs I could play in French, Italian, German and or Portuguese? I don't mean only the subtitles and menu interfaces (as in GTA Vice City or Dragon Riders) I mean as in Portal 2 with French, German, Russian and Spanish, where the audio also changes accordingly (Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy would also be good examples of that, though it's true those are NOT RPGs :D ) I'm not really into e-business, by the way, so buying anything online is not really an option for me, at least not for now.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not an English-hater, quite the contrary ;) but since I'm also fluent in French and learning German, Italian and Portuguese I'd really love to be able to polish my skills in all those as much as possible and RPGs certainly seem to me to be a hell of a way of doing that :) (they definitely were of tremendous help when I was starting to learn English).

Cheers!

Both The Witcher 1 and 2 definitely.

Get the Enhanced Edition if you decide to get the first (I'm not sure if you can even still get the original), it's really cheap these days.

They support every language you listed IIRC, maybe not Portuguese. And you can set the subtitles and voice overs to different languages if you prefer, so you could play with English subs and be hearing French/German/whatever which may help you polish your skills further :)

I dont know any games personally, but because they dub many french and german things it shouldnt be to hard to find some.

The witcher enhanced edition costed about 10 euros for me.

Hey, mates,

Thanks so much for the info; I'll definitely have a look at The Witcher, certainly sounds promising to me;) I've also heard that Dragon Age Origins might be another good option, is that true?

Oh yes, exentenzed, it really is a tremendously good way of learning another language, I'd say 8)

Cheers again!
