I was searching around looking for some free digital backup for my files and what not and came across this website: Digital Lifeboat (http://www.digitallifeboat.com/)

Right now its free to sign up and if you sign up right now during the beta you get free life time account. only problem is that according to their FAQ depending on how much crap, your connection to your internet and something else it could take days to weeks to fully complete the backup process. I think its a good deal.

It sounds like a good deal. But if you want some security of your files as well, get an external hard drive (or an internal one + enclosure) and back it up yourself. It'll be much faster (transfer-wise) and you'll have access to it whenever, even if you don't have internet.

I would get a external but money is very tight right now.

Sounds like what carbonite backup did awhile ago.

Then feel free to try this out. Don't back up everything though, try it out first and see how well it is.
