View Full Version : Help Me Problem with Customizing Profile

I have this problem that when I go to my profile and try to customize it, it won't work and this pops up.

MortenNS, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

When I read this I was like:

1. "Wtf? I'm not trying to edit someones profile, I'm trying to edit my own!"

2. "Who the **** posts by clicking customize profile?"

You have to wait 24 hours and have 10 posts in order to edit it.

You do realize that it just lists several reasons for your lack of access. In your case, it's the first part of option 1. You don't have the privilege yet.

There are very many who posts threads like this and yes it stands in the rules section but maybe you could write in the message that pops out that you need to be a 24 hour member and have 10 posts?

Honestly this flood of threads stating that they dont get why they cant do things yet?

If it's all in the rules, and they dont know about it? Chances are they DIDNT read the rules.

Your supposed to be a member for 24 hours, and if its still not letting you have access to profile customization after he 24 hours, then I don't know what you can do about it.

I understand, I didnt read all of it. Just read the 24 hours thingy, and got a bit confused when it didnt work. Thanks anyways!

You have to have been a member for 24 hours and 10 posts ;-)
