Unconfirmed reports say that gamers will be able to enjoy Xbox 360 titles on their Windows 8 PC, when the operating system eventually launches.

Sounds lame to me. I don't care about any 360 games I can't already get on PC.

Also, a subscription fee, and I assume they won't be moddable and lack settings and such? I doubt most PC gamers will give a crap about this service :P

Personally, the only thing that PC gamers would benefit from is that they would be able to play Gears of War 2 & 3, all Halo games and any other Xbox 360 exclusive/first-on 360 title without having to own an Xbox. I have an Xbox 360 though, so I am definitely not interested in this service, unless they make it so that Xbox Live gamers could play Windows Live gamers, which would be great for Battlefield 3 and any fans of Call of Duty.

^ Yeah, it'll be good for PC gamers (that don't own a 360) interested in 360 exclusives. I think it'll have a better chance of not failing if there is no subscription.

It could go either way. Seems kind of cool but at the same time pointless. Doesn't matter, I can do that anyways. xD I've got an HDMI-In on my laptop.

The first Gears of War, and the only Gears of War to be released on the PC, looked absolutely outstanding at the time; the visuals were pristine and the controls are good.
