he pre ordered it awhile back and a bunch of people got to be beta testers on live.

I got a taste in April, when I pre-prdered Bulletstorm Epic Edition, but here's the details on how to get into the beta. If I'm not mistaken, the beta is open for ALL Xbox Live Gold Members.... but, the beta ended May 15th.


Here are the key dates, from Microsoft:

Bulletstorm Preview, 18 - 24 April
Owners of "Bulletstorm: Epic Edition" are eligible for a one-week beta preview period featuring the new Team Deathmatch mode on four new maps (Thrashball, Checkout, Trenches and Old Town).

Gears of War 3 Beta, 25 April - 15 May
The full public beta period begins 25 April. Players can look forward to special events and playlists throughout the beta period. Two additional competitive game modes, Capture the Leader and King of the Hill, will be added during the final week of the beta.

Beta concludes.

Yep, the Beta ended ages ago. I was able to play it and it was amazing :) which is a good sign, seeing as they weren't any where near releasing the game back then! They've had a lot of time to improve upon what was already pretty damn good.

I'm kinda psyched for it. I love Gears 2, Lots of memories playing online, rage quitting, playing hoarde instead... lol

Ok. since it was already amazing plus 5 months of refining it = a kick ass way for Gears to go out in style. but we all know its not going to stop there XD it will be like Halo is now! we will see some one else (Maybe) grab the title for Gears and make it new like some how a lone Locust escaped and evolved into a bigger threat than before with the ability to control humans or something along those lines. OR they could finally make a prequel to it all and you get to fight from The Pendulum Wars through Emergence Day to the day Marcus got release (<---that would be the final cinematic) I'm Kinda hoping for the prequel after Gears 3, but what would it be called.....??? Any Suggestions? and the prequel might even have to take 2 games! which would be amazing!
