So, if you haven't heard, LoL is coming out with a new game mode soon, called Dominion.

It will be out after PAX (after August 28th or so) and someone who played on the map broke the rule about not sharing and shared some things...

It is apparently a "5-capture point map, in a circle, with two real lanes and a central 'jungle' with no npcs" and balance will be achieved through different items instead of champions. There are some buffs, but mostly no jungle monsters, apparently. You also apparently start at level three with 1,300 gold, and they are fast-paced, 20 minute games. Some things might obviously change as they test it, but this is the basic gist of it.

Should be a pretty fun/interesting new game mode :)

Sounds fun. Will definitely have to try it out. Hope it's more interesting than what L4D2 did with Survivor Mode and Scavenge - those modes were only interesting for a few days.

That looks really awesome, kinda reminds me of Arathi Basin battlegrounds in WoW, one of my favorite ones :D

Excited to play the new game, and see how everyone plays it.

The quest part of it sounds really interesting. Good incentive in game to capture certain points.

Can't wait to try it out.

This is going to become my favorite game mode so fast o:
I can't wait to be playing these short, intense games for hours on end because I'm helplessly addicted to this game.
