Out of that list Blink-182 because even as the years have gone by I still love there childish songs and I am able to connect to their more emotional deep songs. Although I did love some of The Offspring songs like "Kristy Are You Doing Okay?" Blink-182 is my pick for the best off that list. Oh also they didn't sell out like Green Day....... Yet. Although that new song sounds surprisingly good.

I picked good old Rancid, they are amazing, and I've always been a fan of their diversity in music, ...And Out Came The Wolves is my favourite album, and even their newest stuff is awesome as well....They are just classic, and I love em. By the way, WHERE'S BAD RELIGION?, they are an epic Punk Rock band too! :D

That was a ridiculously hard choice between The Offspring, Blink 182 and Green Day. Sum 41 I did love, but not as much to contend for the top spot. I never did give Rancid much of my time, which is why they didn't feature in my choice finals :D
Green Day were a musical obsession of mine many years ago, through to the American Idiot era, sporting some timeless tracks that I always welcome on my shuffle playlist. Not enough to win it though.
The Offspring are fun, awesome and generally kick-ass. I love listening to them when I'm gaming and just milling around places in general in the outdoors, but still, not good enough to win it.
I came to the conclusion that Blink 182 are the best out of the lot, for me. This is purely based on the amount of hours I've spent listening to their records whilst not getting tired of any of their material. Like The Offspring, they're fun, awesome and generally kick-ass, but I think what wins it by just a hair is the personalities of the band. I don't care too much for their new single, but their old stuff is just too good to care about it.

Well, Blink, Green Day, Offspring, and Sum 41 seemed to dominate the playlists of people who grew up in the 90s. And I just threw Rancid in cuz they were a big player in the 90s punk music.

Never really listened to any of those bands but I enjoy Sum 41 most out of the list. I guess my reasoning is that they just have a more appealing sound to me.

I voted The Offspring, just because while I listen to them the most, and I don't think they're strictly better or worse than any of the bands on this list, they deserve some love.
Anyways, Blink 182 has been on my brain for the past few days just because they played a show here last night and like everyone I know went, and I really wanted to go too (more because My Chemical Romance also played, but Blink woulda been super fun to see) but i didn't wanna spend the money, especially since i'm seeing Reel Big Fish tonight. I remembered making a green day dookie vs offspring americana topic, and somebody on facebook made a sum 41 vs blink 182 poll, and I figured "why not just throw all the big 90s bands together?" I probably should have left Rancid off of this then....oh well.

You're not from the west coast are ya? Or else Red Hot Chili Peppers should have been on there. They've been dominant forever. I truly love every album even they FUNKY stuff with George Clinton. Only band where I can listen to the whole album more then a couple times in a row.... Why no RHCP?

They don't really fit the punk/pop-punk theme.

Green Day were good for their time, Im not the fan of their latest album 21st Century Breakdown, but I did like the days of Warning, and Minority....From there on, I had not much interest in their music.

Yea, that's the problem with Green Day. I mean, American Idiot wasn't terrible, it had some good stuff (like holiday) but their 90s stuff is just as good as the 90s stuff of all the other bands here
Only two of those bands are punk...
Rancid, and early offspring...

Your point being? I never said it was strictly punk bands poll.

Not what I was saying, I meant that in my oppinion, I like punk bands the best, so I was saying my options where between the two.

Oh. I never would have guessed that from what you posted, but okay. And yea, these bands were all really big in the 90s, and in terms of 90s punk you had the pop punk like green day and blink that borrows from punk but isn't really classifyable as true punk, and stuff like rancid. Tbh though, I kinda wish I left Rancid off the poll, cuz this is, in my opinion, more about the other 4 bands.

Rancid are still amazing none the less, and will always be in my top favorite Punk Rock bands.

I Voted for Sum 41 as I am a fan of most if not all of there music :)
I voted for Sum 41 as well. I don't really like any of the bands anymore though. I listened to some of them to death ages ago.

I liked Sum 41's earlier days, like Half Hour Of Power, All Killer No Filler', and Chuck, but their new stuff isn't as ''mind-blowing'', the band has changed to a more Pop Punk styled band now, which is disappointing for a good band like themselves. Im just throwing it out there, that the material that they are releasing as of lately is not what they are significantly recognized around the whole world for.....

I Agree Tray But I enjoy the 'older' music quite allot more then their newer releases, but none the less I prefer Sum 41 then the other band's listed :)
