The demo for Warhammer 40k Space Marine has been released! It's currently available to all XBL Gold members and for the PC community. I believe PS3 will have the demo tomorrow.

As well as Warhammer, the NHL12 and Bodycount demos have been released!

YES! Finally, I've waited for a demo of this game fro ages, sadly I'm a PS3 user -.- I just have to wait till tomorrow haha

As well as the xbox demo, I tried out the PC demo, and zomg is was awesome. It isn't just a crappy port which is good, and the controls feel natural, like they've made the game just for the PC (which they haven't, of course.)

The only criticism I have of the PC version is that the textures could be of a higher resolution, but the game still looks freaking awesome, and they capture the atmosphere perfectly with the visual and sound effects and the music score. I'm sure the game will look better upon release.

Regardless, I will be getting this game for the PC, as it supports the xbox pad as well as just using the mouse and keyboard. Win :)

Ultra Marines. Blood Ravens aren't even an original chapter, they're only there for Dawn of War. Blood Angels and Ultra Marines ftw.
When I used to collect and paint Warhammer as a kid I had a mass army of Ultra Marines, with two Predator tanks. Unfortunately I didn't get into actually playing the game, I just did it for artistic purposes only, and for show :)

Haha I wasn't even born when Warhammer 40k was a Table top game, and personally, I think the Blood Ravens even though they aren't original, they are my favourite, also I have a Set of the Table Top game waiting delivery from eBay haha :)

Haha Wow, I feel old :D The tabletop game is loads of fun.. VERY expensive habit, but fun :) I wish they'd make an MMO(RPG) out of the Warhammer Fantasy series :O I played more Fantasy that I have 40k

Lol Yea I knew there was Warhammer Online, was just hoping that they'd base a game completely off of the Fatasy series. Although, WO does bring some aspects of Fantasy into it, so I cant complain too much :P

ah right :) it is a really good game, and I used to love playing it. I can't wait until the new 40k MMO though :D

Dawn of War 3 WOOOOOOO, I cant wait for it, hopefully they improve the RPG feel of DoW2 and make it that every race has it's own story :) but I think I Might have to Download Warhammer Online... if it is a Downloadable game haha

I really do hope that they reintroduce base building in DoW3. Even though DoW2 was awesome and unique, the gameplay didn't work too well in multiplayer. It just felt a bit odd to me.

You can get Warhammer Online on a download :) just go to Steam or something and it's for sale there.

Yeah as far as I know it is still a subscription fee. They may have changed it to free-to-play, but I'm not sure.

Haha, awesome :) So, steam keeps telling me that I already have the game activated when I put in the demo code.... def haven't tried to activate before and it's def not in my library :(

My friend had the same problem, but when he tried to follow me into the game it told him to download it, which is how he got it working! If you try and do something on the same level of that then that should hopefully solve things! :)

I tried it out, its pretty good man! I like it so far, cause its the first game I've played that when you hit an enemy, you dont look for medi-kits or stuff like that, you get health by killing the enemy. thats pretty neat. including how the skills upgrade throughout the game. I'm interested.

I tried this game out through steam, awesome looking game I think I was sold as soon as I started using my chain sword hopefully you get to use other pieces of wargear maybe a set of lightning claws :D. I don't think ill pick this up day one but its defiantly a must play game.

I don't think it's going to be like Dawn of War in that respect.

I'm Pretty sure that Lightning claws are for the Imperial Guards :) But that would be quite good. Maybe we could see sequels starring the Chaos forces as a Playable Set, or maybe all sets like Dawn of War but In this format, Sort of like the old Star wars Battle front for PS2 but Dawn of War style, Now that would be the new definition of epic Don't you agree?
