ok I know this may be a very new subject for a lot of people but I've been having one major issue with my Droid Incredible 2 smartphone. My Android Market app and Gmail app both pre installed in factory by Google keep crashing when I open them as soon as I open one of them a white screen flashes for a quarter of a second and then it goes back to my home screen I have tried clearing the caches of both but still nothing. my phone is running on the latest version of Android firmware which is currently 2.3.3 any help would be appreciated

Have you tried asking the manufacturer or the retailer you purchased from? It could be a buggy phone.
When my sister bought her first G1, it kept doing something buggy, she had to return it for a new one (which was done for free by the local retailer).

if its uner 28 days old then return it....otherwise reinstall or upgrade the firmware...that should sort it. If it doesnt call the motorola tech support they can tell you what to do!

Faulty firmware is usually the cause of app crashes.
2.3.3 update must be a buggy ROM. Return it, or flash a new / the same ROM to your phone.
Turn phone off. Hold down power button and volume down button. Try to reset to factory default.
Hopefully this will somewhat help. I have the same phone.

Should I back up my phone before I reset it will I lose my apps and everything. I been reading about people who had the same problem and they say it could be due to an update to the market is there a way to roll back app updates

All apps should be registered to your google account, and any information should be on your memory card(wouldn't be affected), but yeah, you probably should.
