I think it's fine.
Because if these are the people they grow up influenced by, they'll just share ignorant opinions.

My first view, is that you spelled view wrong. (Sorry! I'm a grammar freak.)

For this, if the child really didn't want it to happen to them they'd kick and scream, then run away from their mother.

Let kids be kids. Nothing just be forced on them. If they want to go down that path in the future, let them, but be careful about it too. Don't just be like "Yeah go for it!" When you're 16 year old wants a new pair of DD's.

Kids don't know the difference between right and wrong, and boobs for a 7 year old and the spray tan may just be "Okay, it's what mom/dad wants, so it's good to do this stuff" which kinda warps them, keeping them from forming their own opinion on image and morals.

Just my 2 cents.

The boob job at 7 is absolutely ridiculous - this woman shouldn't be able to do that to her kid at that age. It's probably not very good for her. She still needs to grow and mature - who knows how getting implants could eventually mess that up? When she ends up maturing, they'll probably have to be removed... I am against implants for vanity reasons in general, but if someone wants to do it when they're older, then whatever. They can go ahead - it's their body to do with what they want. But a seven year old? That's just ridiculous. The girl didn't get any chance to really form any of her own opinions, and I feel like you should not be allowed to do that to a child this age. Once she's older, and if she decided that she really wanted one... then sure, I guess. It's sad that this is even considered as a good use of money, imo, but whatever.

I don't agree with the spray-on tan or make up on kids this young, either, and wouldn't do that to my kids if I ended up having them, but they are not as big of a deal as the breast implant thing. Spray-on tan is worse than make up, but I don't think we should be shoving the idea that you can't be beautiful unless you're fake into our children. Honestly, they're probably going to end up with crippling self esteem issues and hate themselves.

but whatevz. At least they'll be pretty, right? -.-

That kind of people should not be parents if they do stuff like that to kids. Let the girl decide herself when shes old enough cause now she can have her whole childhood destroyed.

As usual, I totally agree with Muffin lol I find this whole thing absolutely disgusting and it boggles my mind that people like this are even allowed to keep their children. Aside from the obvious health issues- what about the mental issues this will inevitably cause? Im sorry, but no 7 year old kid with breast implants is going to grow up to be well adjusted. Teaching your kids at that age to believe that looks are that important is inexcusable. Girls (and guys) have enough problems with self-esteem in this day and age that they don’t need parents like that on top of it. I agree, if what she wants to do when she’s 18 is go out and get fake everything- that’s totally up to her at that point. Instead of teaching her that the only way to be beautiful and accepted is to be fake in every aspect, why not teach her some self worth instead? Teach her to love herself for who she is and not care what others think- to be yourself and be proud of that. Maybe take those thousands of dollars spent on fake boobs and put them in a COLLEGE fund for her. Start her on the right path maybe instead of starting her on the path to becoming a porn star at age 7.

That said and done, I think this may be my first rant! :P

a lot of valid points have been made here.
At the end of the day it all comes down to socialisation.
Primcary socialisation is provided by the parents so logically all these parents that are pushing their kids into pagents, giving their kids boobjobs, teaching them that they need to be thin and pretty are honestly screwing the kids up. It's not even debatable. It's bad enough that TV teaches us we need to be beautiful and comformative and exactly like the celebrity's. If the parents carry on teaching the kids the same thing then society is doomed. No more individuality, no more actual natural beauty, no more people who actually care just a planet of plastic morons who will melt that much quicker when the universe does start it's collapse and the sun closes in on us.

WOW I did not expect to get that angry about this topic :P

That's mutilation! Giving a Boob-Job to a child (not even fully developed) the most pathetic ever. This sort of sh*t should be illegal! Horrible!

Lol This is exactly why I hate Society and Humanity as a whole…. Overall we are sadly a -very- closed-minded, drama-loving/seeking, selfish, lazy and conceited group of individuals who are more often concerned about their appearance then anything else.
