Hey all, I just got a HD ATI 5570 for my Dell Pentium 4 desktop OS Win 7. Along with it I got two monitors and plugged them. They work great, except for when I go into full screen mode during games or movies. The program launches in the main monitor (which is fine) but the second monitor does nothing but sit there. My question is this: is there a way to change the rules of how a program runs. Or in other words, can I run a game in full screen mode while running another program in the other monitor? If not, can I change the rules so that the screens become duplicates or stretched? Perhaps I'm missing something but I can't seem to figure it out...

Thanks in advance!

I have the same problem man. The only solution I've found that works is to switch the settings so it's in windowed mode, and then just maximize the window on the second monitor.

I see you're running on desktop, so this may work too...in the display settings where it shows the resolution, try right clicking on the image of your second monitor, and selecting to make it your default monitor. I can't do this on a laptop, but maybe you'll have better luck!

Thanks guys.

I looked up ultramon and downloaded the trial version. I can't seem to configure it properly at this point. I also found a wikipedia page (just search "comparison of multi-monitors")* that gave me some options to look at. As Actual Multiple Monitors had more features I downloaded its trial version too... Right now AMM looks like it might be better, (the free version is also handy).

I still can't figure out exactly how to make a program behave a certain way... Still trying though.
