Please wish everyone the best of luck in making it through these wildfires. Cass County is located right beside Bowie County (my county) and it has everyone worried. Firefighters are few and far between and now people are just asking for anyone to become a volunteer firefighter to help stop this madness. We've had little to no rain almost the entire summer, causing home foundations to crack, plants to die, and small brush fires turn into this. I have friends in this area and I worry every day that this fire burning out of control will end up taking a life of anyone I know or taking a life of anyone in general.
