Right, so... This part of the forum is what really convinced me to join up here.
So I might as well make myself a thread.
I'm a graphic artist as well as a graffiti artist, working mainly in Photoshop.
I do alot of sigs because I get bored of them quickly.

I will be updating this thread with my works (Old and new) as soon as my web is set up at home.... In a week :(.
Howerver, until then, I do have at least one piece that I have access to and would like a bit of feedback on.

And here it is!

So, let me know what you think

------------------------------------------------------------------------

As promised, here is the 'Simpler' sig that I mentioned below. For some reason I titled it as 'Pure Sound' ... God knows why.
I lost the version with the transparency... So I'll be fixing that as soon as I get photoshop back... I hope... This one really does look better without the white backdrop. But for now it's the best version I can find

And here's an example of my early work. I followed a tutorial posted by a member if the old Bleed Productions forum for this one... and then ruined it with crappy text. :( I wish I still had the PSD.

Told ya it was tragic :P

That's really nice! I hope to see you enter the SotW contests :3

It definitely looks like you know what you're doing. I'd love to see some more of your stuff to get a better idea of your style/etc, so I'm looking forward to that :)

Firstly welcome to the forum.
As for the signature, it's certainly a great start but for me it looks overly busy.
There looks like there is far too much going on, try moving the render closer to the centre, maybe just off slightly to the right and spread the effects across the entire sig. Also be careful with text, try and keep it altogether and close to the focal point.

Thanks. I wasn't really expecting such friendly feedback so soon!

Kibbler, I hear ya about the text and all but I like my sigs busy. That's kinda my thing. I do usually slam the renders nearer to the middle but I got a bit.... restless with it. Started slowly moving them further and further.
I do have some simpler sigs though. I have one that I'm really proud of with a render of the character from world ends with you. I'll see if I can find it with my phone anywhere and post it up.

Nice work man, keep it up! The only bad thing(s) I'd point out is the pixelation and the choppy edges on the render... Im a neat freak, lol :D

I will do! Thanks for all the welcomes too!

Psycotray, thanks for pointing out the pixels. I don;t know how I missed them! Unfortunately through a series of HDD crashes I've lost all my old PSD's. any thoughts on what I could do to neaten the edges up a bit now without ruining my sig? It's gunna bug me now you pointed it out :(

More sigs coming Saturday or Sunday btw, guys. I'll be dropping all my old stuff that I deam worthy. I was looking through them this morning and man.... I have some good pieces that I utterly destroyed with tacky text :(

Try a light smudge around the edges just to ease away the pixelization.
