Woman threatened by man with a fully loaded assault rifle

As the title says, I just read in the newspaper that a 35 years old woman got threatened by a man. She rented out appartments and the man had one. When she was going to collect the money he started to threaten her with a fully loaded AK4(G3 assault rifle), she managed to escape. But the thing that pisses me of even more, he got only 10 months in prison, TEN MONTHS. Its just to damn short, he got charged for illegal threats, nothing more.

Its like they think, its not that serious, its not like he tried to kill her, WELL guess what hes probably gonna do the day he get out. And the thing that this was fairly close to home, its not a big town so its pretty unusual this happens.

So what do you think of this.

I think that the government can't afford to house criminals in prison for their sentences for too long. It's just collectively too expensive for them. Either that, or there's a lack of space for them all.

I say bring back the prison ships. Floating prisons are the way forward.

I lost faith for the revolving door justice system a long time ago. It's ridiculous the types of things people can get off with these days. Even though this guy didn't shoot her, it still should have been considered assault with a deadly weapon, cause all the guy had to do was pull the trigger, which he was most likely very capable of doing.
