Good open world games

i loved oblivion but i want a gun i have a xbox 360 my mom wont let me get fallout 3, borderlands, new vegas, red dead redemption, fable 2-3, ect.>:D

any sugestions?

Hmm, open world with guns. If you can't play any of those it's unlikely she'll let you play GTA, Far Cry 2, Just Cause 2, or any others I'd recommended really..

just cause, 1/2 are pretty good but why wont you get fable 2-3?

Your mom most likely wont let you play any open world games with guns, considering the list you've got there..

It must suck dude.. Could you let us know how old are you if not then its alright. But damn I remember when I was like 10 and my mother got me GTA Vice City lol any game I wanted some parents don't allow there kids to play games like that because you repeat what they say and see in the game. If your a teenager then why not try talking to her and letting her know that your mature and wont follow what they do in the game but other than that maybe she'll let you play umm The Sims?

I don't know if you'd consider it "open-world" but Knights of the Old Republic is a great game

Open world, guns, no blood, no intense violence....... Baldur's Gate for the comp? You can buy it, the expansion and the second with its expansions for $10 I think. But you prolly wouldn't like it. most fun RPG ever though.
