Hi guys.
im a long time EA "fan." I waiver back and forth on these guys, b/c of how they work these new installments. Any way, I have been informed that this years Madden is both the best and worst ever.

*Xbox 360 players that I associate with throughly love the new defensive audible system, allowing more options. They also rave over the animation, and so forth. But do note, the xbox 360 players I know haven't explored franchise into depth yet, waiting to re-activate xbl account to acquire roster update, first.

*PS3 players that I have spoken with, have already traded the game in for credit. The complaint by these users were, that the franchise mode was completely busted this year. One, that the EA rendition of Andrew Luck is by far and away better than any QB the game offers intially. Second, that the offensive line men that come into the franchise are no where near good enough to compete with the defensive linemen the game generates.

Would love for anyone to expand on this, or disagree. All input is appreciated.

Tried the NFL games some years back, two reasons I love EA games they are generally great quality and two I will try almost any game at least once. NFL was not for me but perhaps because I'm a Brit and wasn't bought up on it, though I do love baseball!

I would love to know how Madden '12 is. I am a huge football fan, both of NCAA and NFL. So I buy most of the installments. Don't you think it's sort of ridiculous how much people complain about these types of games? There's only so much they can do with sports games, and only so many things they can change every year.

I agree, I'd also like more input from someone who has this, as I'm considering whether to save up for it or not.

The problem with Madden is that they don't upgrade the games nearly enough each year. They reuse the same commentator sound bytes every year and 12 has plenty of glitches in it. Keep in mind that this is coming from a die hard Madden fan and I get it every year. It would be nice to see some effort put into each game especially considering it's the only choice out there for NFL football games now. It's not that it's necessarily a bad game as much as it's not nearly as great as it could be.

I really don't enjoy the new madden. I've played tons of games online and any post fade routes in the red zone leads to an auto touchdown because the defenders just won't jump for the ball. Not only that, but Green Bay is nearly unbeatable. I understand their regular season was amazing, but Madden treats them as if every phase of their game is unbeatable. I just lost interest in these games as of late. I stick to NBA 2k for my sports games.
